Your role as PPC Executive
As a PPC Executive, you will play a key role within our Paid Media team, delivering best-in-class paid search and display campaigns across a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll work closely with your manager and team to ensure campaigns are strategically sound, performance-driven, and aligned with our agency values.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the building, implementation, and optimisation of paid search and display campaigns, with a focus on generating targeted traffic and driving conversions. You’ll be expected to manage accounts with precision, contribute to performance insights, and maintain high standards of delivery across all touchpoints.
Main Accountabilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of paid search strategies aligned with client goals
- Execute day-to-day campaign management including setup, optimisation, monitoring, and reporting
- Build and manage campaigns across Search, Display, Video, Shopping, and Performance Max (PMax)
- Optimise campaigns across multiple platforms including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to inform campaign structure and targeting
- Write and test ad copy to improve relevance and performance
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports with detailed commentary, insights, and recommended actions
- Complete regular Search Query Reports to identify opportunities and refine targeting
- Manage budgets effectively to maximise ROI and ensure efficient spend
- Collaborate with internal planning teams, clients, and platform reps to drive best-in-class performance
Core Knowledge & Skills
Essential
- You will be organised, determined and persistent
- As well having excellent written and verbal communication skills you will have a strong customer service ethos and ability to build lasting relationships.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- An ability to consistently manage time appropriately and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are consistently met
Desirable
- Comfortable in supporting peers and knowledge sharing
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategy
- Knowledge of the Google and Microsoft Ads interfaces
- Knowledge of how measurement and tracking works
- Knowledge of common metrics within paid media e.g. relationship between metrics, understanding definitions, calculations and the impact of these
- Knowledge of google analytics
Qualification/Experience Requirements
Desirable
- Previous experience within a paid media environment and be eager to build on this and develop within our company
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of the search engine marketing industry
- Demonstrable experience in a PPC role gained from a search agency or in-house position
- Completion of the core Google Ads certificates
Any Other Relevant Information
This is a hybrid role split between home and office working, ensuring you work from your contracted office on the relevant allocated day (Manchester Wednesday & Leeds Thursday).
