Your role as Finance Assistant

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Responsible for Divisional Revenue billing and any amends, working with Account Management Teams
•  Partnering with the business to understand stage of completion of projects and ensuring the correct revenue recognition through deferrals / accruals each month. 
• Accurately update production plans 
• Posting journals to ensure costs are appropriately accrued or prepaid 
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations 
• Cover for bank payments, credit card spend and accounts payable 
• Provide information and assist with audit queries on the statutory accounts 
• Other ad hoc duties 

Experience 

This is an excellent entry role into finance for an ambitious individual, who has a genuine passion for developing their career within Finance. No prior experience within a finance team is required. 

• A graduate looking to start studying ACCA, or in the first year of study
• Accounting or related degree is preferable
• Up to 2 years working in a similar Finance role
• Proactive and self-motivated, bright individual with the ability to take initiative and ownership
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to prioritise and work with urgency, when the need arises
